i found this great recipe..so, i give it a try..
here it is..
FRENCH BUTTER COOKIES
1 cup(2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
2/3 cups plus 3 tablespoon packed light-brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 granulated sugar for rolling
1.Beat butter and light brown sugar until fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes
2.Add eggs and vanilla extract,mix to combine
3.Add flour and salt,mix until the flour incorporated (don't overmix)
4.Roll dough into three 1 1/2 inch diameter logs.Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerated until firm, at least 1 hour or overnight.
5.Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
6.Roll cookie log in sugar,coating it evenly and slice into 1/4 inch rounds.
(if the batter going too soft,place the cookies in fridge about 15 minutes before baking to make sure the cookies don't collapse in the oven.)
7.Bake until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
8.Remove and let it cool completely,store in air-tight container.
i made different shape just for fun
and the taste is success!!
although it's not perfect
